activeTab / Host Permissions
Required to query the actively visited page's Document Object Model (DOM) or monitor network traffic to locate and capture hidden caption/subtitle tracks (e.g., inside video players like YouTube or Whop). The extension does not read your browsing history or track the websites you visit.
Storage
Used solely to temporarily store transcript text segments locally in your browser's extension memory so you can download them.
webRequest / webRequest API
Used to passively detect and intercept subtitle files as they are requested by the video players on the pages you visit.
3. Third-Party Services
The Extension operates entirely offline and locally and does not integrate with third-party analytics, tracking scripts, or ad networks.
4. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
